| 本文(Report) | ８月８日、いくつもの思い出を作ったホームステイを終え、中央区にあるLet's中央に集合したジュニア達は、 太鼓や盆踊り、着付けなど、日本の伝統文化を今日一日たっぷりと体験しました。 特に剣道の模擬戦・空手の型の披露では大きな歓声があがり、 実際に竹刀を振ったり、ミットに打ち込みをする姿も見受けられました。 また、お手玉やけんだま、コマをはじめとする代表的な昔の遊びの紹介も行われ、 浴衣やはっぴを着たジュニア達はじっと白石ばらの会の方々の説明に聞き入っていました。 In August 8, Overseas participants gathered in "Let's Chuo" :located in Chuoku, Sapporo, with memories of homestay. There they enjoyed "Taiko":the Japanese drum performance and Japanese summer dance called "Bon-Odori" etc. Especially in Japanese martial arts, "Kendo" and "Karate", they got so excited, and some of participants practiced them. There were also introductions of "Otedama", "Kendama" and "Koma":the Japanese traditonal plays, overseas participants in Japanese traditional clothes called "Yukata" or "Happi" listened to introductions and looked at demonstrations of them. （写真：空手の型を披露する高校生） |

| 本文(Report) | 長い長いバスの旅。 降り立った先は、北海道庁旧庁舎。 どんな人がいるのか。 どんな生活が待っているのか。 気分を高揚させた海外ジュニア達と、ホストファミリーとの対面式。 握手をする人。 覚えたての日本語で「よろしくお願いします」と言ったジュニア。 それぞれの不安と期待が入り混じる中、二泊三日のホームステイが始まります。 WYF最後のプログラム。 ジュニア達は、どんな思い出を作りに行ったのでしょうか。 6th of Aug, Meeting with host famiries. A long long bus trip. Arrived at the former Hokkaido Government building. What kind of people is waiting for. What kind of life is waiting for. The meeting of excited overseas junior with their host famiries. People shakig hands. Overseas junior says "hello" in Japanese as they have learned just before.
