「街から世界へ」 |

この日のテーマは「街から世界へ」。サミットコメンテーターの野村
輝之さんの講演を聞いた。野村さんは仲間とヨット「シーガル号」で世界一周を果たした経験の持ち主。講演の中では、「自然を守り、手を取り合って、みんなで美しい世界をつくっていこう」と呼びかけた。
ジュニアたちはその後、お互いのジオラマを橋などでつなぎ、理想の街を理想の世界へと発展させ完成させた。 |

"From local community to the world" |

The theme
of the program is "From local community to the world." First,
everyone listened to the lecture by Mr. Teruyuki Nomura,
a summit commentator. Mr. Nomura recently returned home
after around-the-world sail with companions by yacht "Sea
gull." In his lecture he appealed to the audience "Let's
work together to keep the world beautiful while preserving
nature." After the lecture, students moved to the Gym where
georama models were linked by way of bridge and others to
finalize ideal community and the world. |

野外交流会

こどもサミット
パート ２ 「街から世界へ」が終了後、深川市の人たちの協力により、煎茶コーナーを体験。その後、野外交流会では、北海道らしく、じゃがいもやとうもろこしのバーベキューを楽しんだ。あたりが暗くなってからは、キャンプファイアーが始まり、踊りやパフォーマンス、ニュージーランドのジュニアによるバグパイプの演奏など、深川最後の夜を楽しんだ。

After
the Youth Summit Part 2 program, the members enjoyed Japanese
tea served by residents of Fukagawa. Then they enjoyed barbecue
party and tasted Hokkaido's potatoes and corn. When it got
dark, it was time for the camp fire, and everyone enjoyed
the last night in Fukagawa with dances and games. A girl from
New Zealand played the bagpipes which was perfect to conclude
the Fukagawa program. |
