ワールドフェスティバル
　 　こどもサミット パート １ を終えて、夜はホテルで「ワールドフェスティバル」が開催された。深川市の江刺昌吉助役より記念品を受け取り、地元の人たちと交流しながらの食事。また、迫力あるイルム太鼓の演奏に感動した。 　その後「コカ・コーラステージ」では、各国の参加者が歌や踊りのステージパフォーマンスを披露し合い、楽しいひとときを過ごした。
World Festival
　 During theday, participants enjoyed the Youth Summit Part 1 program, and a World Festival party was held in the evening. Gifts were presented to overseas members by Mr. Esashi, vice mayor of Fukagawa, and everyone there enjoyed dinner while talking with citizens of Fukagawa. Irumu daiko drum performance by Fukagawa people was powerful and exciting.
After the Japanese drum performance was "Coca-Cola Stage" where overseas members introduced dances and songs unique to their own countries. It was really a fun.

こどもサミット パート 1
「私たちの理想の街」
　 　パート 1 では、班ごとに「私たちの理想の街」について考え、デザインし、実際にジオラマ（模型）で作ってみた。そして、それぞれの街をつないで完成させた。まずは、輪になって考えを述べ合う。言葉の壁もあり、なかなか意見がまとまらず苦労しつつもテーマを決めていくジュニアたち。次第にテーマやコンセプトがまとまり、形にしていくことができた。タイ班の「ブパ（タイ語で花の意味）・花・フラワーの街」、ポートランド班の 「一年中スポーツを楽しめる街」などユニークな作品が完成した。
World Youth Summit Part 1
"Our ideal community"
　 Youth Summit is the program where members of each group think about what the ideal community will be, exchange ideas, design the community, and produce the georama model. Finally each community is to be linked. First, they sat on the floor of the Gym and expressed their idea. Because of language difficulty, it took some time to understand each other's idea. But, each group finally come to agree to set its unique theme and concept and got ready to produce georama. The theme of Thai group was "Bupa (flower in Thai language), Hana (flower in Japanese) and Flower." Portland produced a unique community where residents can enjoy sports throughout the year.
