開会式、オリエンテーション

初日の午前中は、会場の真駒内ハイツで、開会式が行われた。各国のジュニアたちがステージに上って自己紹介。引き続き、エスコートはオリエンテーションに参加、海外ジュニアたちは、他国のジュニアと交流しながら、日本語を学んだ。

Opening ceremony
was held in the morning of the first day, and members of
each group introduced themselves on the stage. Then escorts
attended a general orientation meeting, and junior members
enjoyed communication time and learned basic Japanese. |

札幌の街探検 パート 1
「見つけよう、札幌の魅力」 |

午後からは、札幌の街探検に出発。海外ジュニアたちは、地下鉄に乗り、こどもの劇場「やまびこ座」に到着。人形浄瑠璃などを楽しんだ後、８つのグループに分かれて市内各方面を探検。カメラを片手に札幌の街を写真に収めた。

In the afternoon
participants explored the city of Sapporo. They first visited
Children's Puppet Theatre "Yamabiko-za" and enjoyed Japanese
traditional puppet show "Joruri." Then, each group visited
different sites of interest in Sapporo and took many pictures. |
